There once was a brown, pillow cat.

He wore a bright, orange top hat.

He liked to eat food.

In his super rad mood.

Then he relaxed on his fat, comfy mat.

There once was a fat pig singing

House of Magic

On a beautiful,sunny Thursday I went to Manukau Movies to watch House of Magic. I went with Fabian and his mum. We drove in Fabians mums light blue car.

First when we got to the movies we had 30 more minutes until the movie started so Fabian and I went into JB HI - FI.Straight away I heard lots of people talking. I went directly to the tablets and Fabian went straight to the play station 4. Next,we went to go get our tickets  and food.

After that we arrived in the cinema we watched the ads before the movie started.The first part was this girl threw this cat out the car door.Next she was talking to another cat and the cat ran away.Later on in the movie theatre the cat found a home and got a name.The name was Thunder and he was talented and he got to be in a magic show. The owner had a mouse named Maggie and he had a rabbit named Jack. They both could talk and they didn't like Thunder. When the owner was riding back on his squeaky bike he had a box with his magic things in the box.

Bird Search

On a dark windy Saturday at 8am I was up and I was bored. I really hoped that the school holidays were over, so I thought of searching for information about birds. I got my bird book and started to search about birds on the internet. 

Fact number 1.  I was questioning in my head about what do birds eat in winter and the answer was the birds that eat insects now in this time of year eat berries. Birds are not always hungry so you have to feed them about 2am in the morning to 8pm in the night time. That's about 18 hours. Who could not eat for 18 hours? That's just amazing. 

On fact number 2. Baby Birds are born about in spring time on September on 12th.

Birds are nature and we need to treat nature good. Nature is our home for you and me. I felt joyful searching about birds. I should do bird searching more often when I am bored.

More diary writing

On sunday I zoomed to church by car. We had to arrive to church fast otherwise we would be late for meeting the Watoto kids choir. It was very exciting I couldn't wait.

Later when we got there I had to go up the front and watch them as they beautifully danced and sang. Everyone thought it was impressive. So did I.

After that nearly everybody gave their hearts to Christ and then Pastor Peter said it was time for the grand finale. Before that they shared how they grew up. One of them was heart breaking. It was very sad because the person said that her nana made a promised that when their mum died the nana would take good care of them but the nana didn't keep her promise. Instead she was terrible to her grandchild and if her grandchild was naughty the nana would lock her up in the in the bathroom without food but sometimes a guard would bring her food.

Then they sang one last song and then me and my family went home and had a roasted lamb.

 When we came back during the night me and my dad went early so I could help with some people to serve and help put food on the food trays. I enjoyed helping with other people but then it was time to go to kids church. When we got there my dad signed me in. I asked leader Nancy if she needed any help. She said I can help with rego. I was pleased that I could help.

Later a whole lot of kids came in to kids church. I had to find their name tags for them or either write them one. Later on we had to pack up. After that we had to go down stairs and worship. I was a worship leader. We sang gospel songs.

When we had finished worship we had to go back up to kid’s church

When we got back up to kids church we watched a clip and had a quiz then it was finally time to go home.

Dear Diary

On Friday  I went to my wonderful grandma's house to have a sleep over. Me and my sister Bailey skipped to the dark green car and my lovely mum drove me with my cool sister to my grandma's house.

The movie started like this… It was a dark and spooky night with 4 ghosts. The scary ghosts floated to a black and in the car there were two adults. One was a man and one was a lady. The man said, "Isn't this romantic?" Then the ghost said," Yes that is romantic”, and the lady yelled, "Aaaaaah!”

 The man and lady raced as fast as they could and Vroooom! They went. It was SCARY! The funniest part was when one of the ghosts burped but it smelt.

Me and Bailey fell straight to sleep. When me and Bailey woke up it was still dark so I turned the TV on and woke Bailey. First I changed the channel to 2 then to channel 4. It was funny when a man was chasing 4 men.

Diary Writing

On Saturday I went to the airport early in the morning at 5.00am to pick up my cousin Roger. He is from Tonga.

After that we all decided to have Mc Donalds for breakfast. I had hot chocolate and pancake.  Roger had the same.

At 8:00 we all went to my cousins rugby. He plays for the Marlins. The other team was the Howick. My cousin’s name is Devante. When the game finished I found a $1.00 on the field so I bought lollies for us all. They were so so sour. I loved it including my mum. ”The score was a draw,” yelled the coach. I jumped up and squirmed. Then I replied to my mum, "He frightened me."  

After a while we went to a shop and brought some dinner. My papa said, "Goodnight". He was just joking around with me. He always does that. We had some pancakes, quiche, sapasui, crab and meat. It smelt so yum there was water dripping out of my mouth. I couldn't wait . I was too hungry.

Last time Roger came from Tonga, he served a Mission in New Zealand as an Elder. His name was Elder Koliapai. His full name is Roger Koliapai. After we ate dinner he went outside to visit the other people he knows from last time.
